Personal Care and Private Duty Care Services

Home health services cover a wide range of options, and it can be difficult to understand exactly what they entail. Here, we've provided a breakdown of what we do.

        Personal Care Services

Personal Care Services are often prescribed by a doctor when a patient needs help with daily activities. Many seniors are in a position where they want to retain as much independence as possible to live their normal lives but still require assistance in many ways. Personal Care is an easy solution to this; we can provide care for your loved ones in the comfort of their home. Some services we assist in are:

  • Wound Care

  • Medication, disease management and education

  • Home safety assessments

  • Home exercise programs

  • Rehabilitation therapies

  • Assistance in daily activities

    • Bath Aide

    • Companion Care

    • Respite Care

    • Assistance in scheduling with nonprofits ie. Seniors First

These services are also available for post-operation patients and patients with chronic conditions like diabetes and enterostomal management.

          Private Duty Care

Private Duty services are the same as personal care, but with one key difference.

Private duty services are ordered without a prescription from a doctor. It is a complementary aid to traditional in home caretakers and all in the safety and comfort of your own home.

Private duty is often a great relief to families with a sick or elderly family member that require consistent attention. Conditions like alzheimer's and dementia can be tough to manage alone, but with assistance from licensed nurses, your loved ones' quality of life can be significantly improved.

We urge you to talk with your doctor about the best options for you and your loved ones.
